OH Holy bejesus!

I stopped updating this site because i felt it was certain noone would be foolish enough to keep Norv as head coach after showing a steep and obvious decline each of the last 5 years.

I felt I had to have some respect and manners and quite honestly some humanity and not kick the man while he was down.

Well.... guess I was wrong!

Ill have t-shirts for sale very soon again.

Season ticket holders will drop like flies. Dont expect to see too many games on TV next year.

The Chargers are offering internships and possibly work (seriously!) Here....

Go ahead and fill out an application and let them know since they seem to reward declining performance and ineptitude with raises and job extensions.

Work in the sales dept at your current job and your selling half as much as you did a few years ago and your boss is an asshole? APPLY for a job with the SAN DIEGO CHARGERS. They seem to want your kind of employee..

I do work in sales, I am currently selling 60% less than I used to but I got a raise. My managers production sucks too, he hired a bunch of people who haven't done shit but he kept his job. That's normal right?

Oh for the love of shit said...

Look, Norv did not drop the ball or throw the ints.
BUT SPANOS' DECISION shows he is completely out of touch with the fans. You feel down when they lose. You go to work and everyone is down and when the topic of the latest loss comes up, all you hear is Stupid Norv, etc.
Norv has had a lot of time to prove himself and he should have been sent packing on MONDAY. He is NOT head coach material. His clock management is so questionable - it is some of his very dumb calls at the end of close games that have caused loses.
Spanos is showing he is clued out about his staff and the fans.
Too bad for us, AGAIN!

Getting fed up with hearing about Rivers "bromance" with Norv. We want a championship here in San Diego.

Sick of this shit, totally. It's like the trainwreck that you can't look away from....you want to, but just can't.

We Chargers fans have to bend over and take it again.

Dean will announce next week that all stadium discussion are on hold until after they move to LA in 2013.

Norv Turner's 6-year run of failure:
2007 playoffs: 2-1
2008 playoffs: 1-1
2009 playoffs: 0-1
2010 season: Does not qualify.
2011 season: Losing record. 7-8 since the last game was meaningless.
2012 season: Move to LA after another lost season.

I don't think the management gets it!! the Chargers may as well back up the moving van now,and save us another season of Norvmania only to end up losing another season.

We could do better with Marty Schottenheimer, but he's now head coach in the UFL,even Childress and Cowher seemed eager to back this "car" out of the driveway from smacking into the garage all season..It looks like we know which team will be prime candidate for Los Angeles or Las Vegas..your former San Diego Chargers aka "Bromancing Norvs Jewels"

Spanos is a loser. This decision is only because a) he doesn't have the balls to look at these guys in the face and fire them, and b) he he is afraid of going through the process of replacing them. It has nothing to do with him wanting to move the team to L.A. To suggest such a thing is to give this guy way too much credit as being some sort of shrewd businessman which clearly he is not.

Feeling pretty good about droppin' my season tickets when Norv was hired. 8 blackouts next year, no problem. Guess I'll be a Tebow fan for the time being...

Screw this crap. I'm cheering for the Raiders from now on. A .618 winning percentage and being the most winning coach in chargers history won't cut it. We need to get into the playoffs every year and at least win the super bowl every other year. We deserve the best because we are an elite team in the NFL and always have been. Fire Norv now and hire one of the great available coaches that are out there on the market right now like Josh McDaniels, Raheem Morris, Denny Green, Spagnola or Mangini.

With the anouncement that Norv "Nutsack" Turner will be returning next year, I will be taking my cue from Sproles, Cromartie, Tomlinson, and Seau.

Fuck you, Norv.

Sincerely,
-Ex-Charger Fan after 32 years.

Rex Ryan of the NY Jets was asked how he might have fared if he had been hired instead of Turner.

"Well, I think I would have had a couple of rings," Ryan said with a laugh.

Eveyone in San Diego agrees with you, Rex. But we aren't laughing. The Chargers deserve a couple of rings by now; there is way too much talent on that team to have failed so many times. The leadership is to blame. Norv should have been gone last year. Instead, Norv "Nutsack" Turner will be back for another pathetic year and Bolts fans will have to hang their heads again.

As a lifelong Patriots fan I think it was a great move keeping Norv. I think the Pats should think about Manusky since everyone else that left the Chargers because of Norv has been great.

Lol @ "7-8 since the last game was meaningless." Tell that to the players, jackass. They seemed to think that it was meaningful, and the game was definitely meaningful to the Raiders. The Chargers got to play the spoiler. That game certainly counts. Norv: zero losing seasons as Chargers' head coach.

If finishing .500 is your benchmark, then the SI guys had it right when they titled their article: "In keeping Turner, Smith, Chargers commit to mediocrity"

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/web/COM1193512/index.htm

Your compliment is zero losing seasons while leading a super-bowl caliber roster to a .500 record in a weak division, while having exactly 1 win this season (first one since 12/12/10) against a team that was better than .500?

You want a coach that can manage to be competitive (but still lose) against the good teams, and somehow overlook and blow it against bad teams?

A team not being prepared (remember the slow starts? Until this year that is, when they were served up 4 winless teams they managed to scrape out victories against and the Pats who they lost to)is coaching. Playing up/down to the level of your competition, rather than being consistent, is coaching. Your players being out on the town until the wee hours less than 36 hours before game time without being disciplined is coaching. No accountability = no leadership = no hope. If they'd replaced the regime before last season, there would've been hope for a championship run with this roster. If they'd done it before this past season, there would be hope of a short rebuild for a championship run. But by doing nothing, they've insured that we'll need a from-scratch rebuild after next season as our roster will have aged too much to simply patch up.

I'm glad I also have another team to pull for.

Don't call me a bandwagoner. I started pulling for the chargers when I moved to SD in 2000. You'll remember that as the 1-15 season. But, I became more and more of a fan as I saw a struggling team that was making earnest strides to right the ship and become contenders. Then, they seemed to become complacent, like they stopped trying, once Norv arrived. Hard to invest in an enterprise that accepts mediocrity, lauds it even as "not a losing record".

I support Norv and wish the best for him and Bolts with good luck next year. Norv did everything he could to put good game plans together and gave the Bolts all the opportunities to win, but the guys on field couldnt execute. All you idiots who think the pool of available so called great coaches would do any better are smoking crack. Raheem Morris, Josh McDaniels, Denny Green??? You fools would probably be happy with Jim Mora too??? What Playoffs??? LOL... Are you kidding me?? I'll take my chances with Norv.

I hope they keep Norv and AJ forever.

A Raider Fan

Once again, it's been proven that Eli Manning made the RIGHT decision in refusing to play for the Chargers. He's now won two Super Bowls with the Giants. How many Super Bowls have the Chargers won with Rivers? Bwahahahahahahahahahahaha!
