Drinking Bandwagon

Way to jump on my Chargers "out all night story" and not give credit Union Tribune and 1090.

OH well. But I have to say that Kevin Acee's lets write a story about a non story to not make it a story was pretty smart.

I didnt make a big deal out of knowing they were out withing 30 some hours of a playoff game (or any game for that matter. Lets get real. They are professionals right?) Because I didnt want to detract from the game.

But really now folks. Kevin. Anyone who goes out for an all nighter that close to a huge event in their career or life has a problem. A drinking problem.

I know. I did the same thing but I was a musician and had a crappy job so the consequences were just me trying to hide from customers and downing some greasy sandwiches. If I was an athlete or had a job of ANY consequences I knew to lay off the booze.

Maybe they need some AA in the Chargers park. We can deny it had anything to do with their performance and I normally don't comment on drunk Chargers on game weekends but this was a playoff game.

so. your idea of a head coach is someone who can win playoff games.

AJ Smith said that he wanted to have a coach that could win playoff games. Marty went 14-2 and was let go for it. Norv turner got his chance and didnt best Marty S. record.

So. I would have to assume if AJ is an honest person he is going to fire Norv Turner tomorrow.

For the record. I dont think its Norv's fault the Chargers lost. Sure, the play calling was WAY OFF what had got them the 11 game winning streak but the Chargers just didnt play that hard.

I fell bad for Norv. If you follow AJ's history Norv SHOULD be fired for only going 13-3 and losing the first playoff game they got to. Numbers are simple and the last great head coach got fired for going 14-2 and losing the playoff game.

SO.. Here we are. AJ. what are you going to do? Do you hire and fire coaches for personal reasons or for performance reasons. I guess we will find out this week.


As far as I can tell a team on the way to the superbowl was disrupted and a new coach was hired. 3 Years into it that guy stumbled in the same place.

Norv. Id look for a new place to live. You see...


In SAN DIEGO WE FIRE 14-2 coaches. So an 13-3 should surely get the ax.

Its a real shame.

From the looks of things and Tim Dobbins out at Dreamgirls and then to the Bullpen on Clairemont Mesa Blvd. (Highly recommended with a very nice staff who usually do double duty next door at Cheetahs) the Chargers should be VERY loose.

I hope they dont get too loose. Not loose like Natrone Means was back in the day downtown when i was in the VIP room with him the NIGHT BEFORE a game. Bless their young souls. I cant look at a beer without a 3 day hangover anymore and Im not that old. I just must have grown a vay JJ.

So on to football. If the Jets can keep the ball out of the Chargers hands the entire game they can win. But even when the Chargers hold the ball for as low as 1/3 of a game they still win because they score points quickly and with big plays.

If the Charger D can hang in there and not get worn down the Chargers should get a victory.

I think Vegas is close on the spread.
