Well. I almost got the spread correct.
A WIN!
I saw some improvements. Norv didn't kick a field goal on 3rd down and we didn't have a Million delay of game calls.
Merriman was out for most of the game and Larry English came in and performed much better than Merriman has so far. In fact, English wasnt being manhandled and pushed around like Merriman has this season. Perhaps its best that Merriman gives his groin a rest for a few weeks so that we can see him at 100% sometime this season to decide
1. If he is worth keeping
2. How his replacement does.
The game was night and day with out Chad Pennington and I wonder how the Chargers would have fared against a 1st string QB BUT a win is a win is a win and I will take it.

We all know that Norv sucks and should be fired. But is he a nice guy? Voice your opinions here.
I think we went over that in the last post. However a better question is should LT play against the steelers if he has the slightest doubt of any injury? I know he would love to make up for last year
I think if he is able to make all 3 practices then he should play. We have the bye week coming up so he can rest it then. If he can't adequately practice then there is no point in playing.
If LT's 95-100%, play. Otherwise give it the two extra weeks so we actually have a chance of cultivating a running game at some point.
This weekend is all Philip Rivers whether LT's in or out.
