Norv Turner says the Chargers arent as good as everyone thinks. Well I have news for him. We know he isnt as good as he and AJ seem to think (or at least say in public) he is.
Just like the last 2 season the Chargers are riddled with stupid penalties for offsides, blown assignments and a seeming lack of effort or motivation from the players. These are all 'Coachable" problems. But it seems that the "coaching" part is the problem.
Take away the questionable play calling and you still have a more than suspect coaching job. This is NOT news. The same issues keep popping up.
I would hate to see AJ and Norv blow this best chance to reach a Superbowl because of this HUGE hiring mistake. I have a feeling all of the Norv supporters arnt going to be defending him again this year after watching the same crap year after year with no changes or solutions.

I can honestly say there was SOME OK play calling on Sunday, with that being said CAN THE BOLTZ PLEASE MOVE ON FROM THIS NIGHTMARE KNOWN AS THE TURNER YEARS!!
I can't beleive any Boltz fan would give norvy any credit at all, or give him a pass on the horrible job he has done as a HC here!! Maybe, mediocre, so-so, it is what it is, whatever: these are all motivation words used by this genius!! That last play of the Boltz on Sunday pretty much sums up norvy's predictable and idiotic play calling since he has been here, and where the Boltz are going with norvy, NO-WHERE!! The Boltz have been lucky as hell to make to the AFC championship since norvy has been here, becuase that's what he relies on to win, luck! It seems like a lifetime ago when they where 14-2!
Ryan in NY and Samurai Mike in SF, could you imagine if the Boltz had a HC with their kind of fire and motivation, they would be freakin awesome, and the fans wouldn't have to pray so much and hide their eyes when the Boltz play! I am already use to this (which is really sad), as long as norvy stays as the Boltz HC this is what we as Boltz fans will come to expect, and will get, disappointment!!!

Norv turner is cancer. He does not know hoe to instill passion, drive, and preparedness into his players. So, even though we have the talent to be a premiere team, we will never be. Norv's comments sound exactly like him. "We are not good but we will get there". The problem is that we should be there. That comment would be alribght in the preseason but to say that we will slowly get better over the season is basically saying he is fine with losing. Norv will never be a success because he doesn't demand the best. Our team consistently lives down to his low expectations. Norv is pathetic. We went from 14-2 to being man handled by the raiders. Norv is pathetic!
But he's a nice guy.
Corky would be a huge improvement over norvy! At least he would say "My team is special, not yours"!!

Norv Turner came in with his losing record and it is like a fungus that is spreading throughout the Chargers team. On a scale of 10, we have:
Motivation Score = o.
Coaching Score = 1
Nice guy score = Who gives a shit?
This is the NFL and it is time to start WINNING.

Isn't it Norv's job to make them good. He is after all the "coach". He really doesn't understand that. He is terrible. I am tired of people excusing norv and saying 8 and 8 is fine. No it isn't. Time to get rid of the tumor. Cut norv from the team and get a tough coach in there. Success will follow.
Hey, Norvsucks, the Chargers will probably fire Norv after this season. Then, when they're mediocre next year, you'll find another reason to whine. Get over it; they're not that good of a football team.

Obama sucks. Deal with it. As far as Norv blowing a chance at going to the Super Bowl goes, the Chargers weren't good enough in either of the last two years to go to the Super Bowl. Their one chance was in 2006, when Marty was the head coach. They blew it that year. Blame Marty. Next?

Thats like Norv inhereting a 1-15 team and giving him 1 preseason game to show how he is going to change things. Maybe Obama does suck but you cant say that after 8 months and inhereting a shitstorm. We KNOW what the last admin left. Lets see how its cleaned up. OR not.

Norv is a nice guy. Know who else was a nice guy? Former Chargers head coach Mike Riley. The players LOVED him, because he's such a nice guy. His career record with the chargers? 14-34. They replaced him with a hard-nosed a-hole (Marty) who whipped them into shape going 47-33. That is 33 more wins, 1 fewer loss. Then, back to nice guy Norv. His win % with the chargers is better than Marty's, at present, but Mary inherited a 1-15 team. Norv inherited a 14-2 team.
Marty: zero playoff wins.
Nobody is blaming Obama for the economy. It's what he has DONE that many people oppose.
Norv in 2009 forward: zero playoff APPEARANCES.
Norv wins 3 games less a year. From 14-2 to 11-5 to 8-8. This year should round out to 5-11.
I criticized Marty when he was here but he was solid (although a bit convservative). But compared to Norv he was superman.
Norv killed to run game when he arrived. That leads to more defensive pressures and a weaker team.
Norv sucks!
