OK. Everyone (a few of my friends I see at parties) asks me when I'm going to start updating the site again. So here I am.
Article in the UT today saying Norv thinks we have a good shot this year because our players are mostly healthy, more experienced and have been Chargers for a few years and know the scheme. Also, more importantly, Norv is more familiar with this players and what did and did not work the past two years.
I agree with the ever friendly Mr. Turner. But i still worry about the players motivation and discipline which seemed to lack last year and as was on display off the field in the form of a few DUI's and fights.
I feel good about this year and I don't think the team will be 8-8. Ill have to see what happens in camp but right now I'm looking at the AFC West Div Champs with an 11-5 record.
I also believe that the hated Raiders will be the 2nd place team in the AFC lead by a feisty Jeff Garcia.

The season is around the corner! I don't know if you were serious about the Faiders but if you were please put the pipe down. If their 1st round draft pick is any indication their commitment to excrement will continue.
I'll have to agree with you about the possibility of 11-5 and go with Morgino and the continued commitment to excrement for the Raiders.
So I was reading up on the last thing people say before they get the chair, some of them are pretty deep....and then you have this guy. Why am I not surprised?

Just watched the Chargers Atlanta game. Way to get the loss right at the end, Chargers. Thanks, Norv. Some how you manage to do it again.

Huge holes in the charger defense. All week we've been hearing about how they wanna get off to a good start. Could have fooled me. This looks like the same shtty start to a game we suffered all last year. Against the Raiders nonetheless!
Chargers sucked last night and still won. Sproles to the rescue. If the Chargers continue to play as they did last night, we won't be seeing too many more wins.
As usual, Norv, doesn't seem to motivate the team. With Gruden and Shanahan coming up again, it seems the Chargers should be coach shopping, but I don't see it happening.
At least they won.
Quite frankly, I enjoyed the USC vs. Ohio State game a LOT more than this ugly mess last night.
Chargers need to improve and NOW.
