vacation

FLASH NEWS UPDATE: 9:50AM.. NFL NETWORK is reporting that L.T. has a detached tendon in his groin and his doctors have recommended he get surgery. His game time will be limited if non-existent in tonights game.

sorry about the delay ladies and germs but being the pessimist I am and seeing that the Chargers had 4 wins in late Nov. I booked a vacation during wild-card weekend and here I am... on vacation and will have to miss the game (only game I will miss this season at the Q).

The Chargers looked like a team that cared last Sunday night and NO I don't think it was because Norv gave the best speech of his life or something. I just think the team came out and executed like a team up against the wall and performed to their full potential. Like a smart kid in college who can only cram at the last minute to pass his tests. The Chargers are those guys. Perhaps, Norv the 'dad' hasnt properly motivated them to do this all the time and that is my biggest problem with him as coach. Play calling was OK but not all the different. They executed the run and that opened up the pass and Denver is a pretty crappy team.

So where are the Chargers this week? In any other division they would be 2nd to last place and the playoffs would be a 1/4 season of victories out of their reach. But I am glad they are there but PLEASE dont try to tell me that Norv should get a break.

8-8 isnt great and neither is Norv.

Chargers 30- Colts 31.

Two very bad defenses face off.

I do have a scenario where the Chargers win but it will be because of Sproles playing most of the game and Cromartie getting back into last years form. Unfortunately, Cromartie has been pretty bad so far this year and I have the league MVP (P. Manning) taking full advantage of him.

Everyone is writing the Bolts off but its only a 1 point spread. Usually the bookies know more than the analysts......hopefully they are off by two points in the other direction. Go Bolts!

Well, the L.T. annoucement is a bummer. The Chargers got rid of the wrong Turner.

Hopefully, the Chargers can go forth and get the win anyway.

Go BOLTS!

They are now saying L.T. WILL play.

Hopefully, we watch our Chargers win tonight........

Go Charge! Wish LT and Gates were at full speed. Sprolesy we need you man.

If the Colts lose tonight, the Colts should make Dungy's decision for him and fire his ass. Dungy should be FORCED into retirement if the Colts lose to an INFERIOR Chargers team.

People talk about firing Norv, but I think that Dungy should be fired if the Colts choke this one.

If the Colts get one first down, it's most likely over for the Bolts. Bolts have two timeouts though.

Addai picks up six. Bolts use their second timeout.

Addai picks up three more. Chargers use their last timeout. If the Colts get a first down in bounds on the next play, it's over.

The Colts should pass here. They're much more successful passing the ball on third-and-short.

Anonymous said...

Manning got sacked. The Chargers will get the ball back. Dungy's job SHOULD be on the line here.

Anonymous said...

Dungy is only .500 in the playoffs as a head coach.

Anonymous said...

The Chargers are almost in field goal range.

Anonymous said...

It's time for Big Game Nate.

The kick is good. It's a tie game. Manning needs to show what he can do now.

If the Colts lose, Dungy should be forced into retirement.

If you take away the year that the Colts won the Super Bowl, Dungy has a God awful postseason record.

Anonymous said...

It looks like overtime here.

Anonymous said...

Yup, overtime.

Chargers' ball. BTW, Chargers' fans, Norv won't be fired if the Chargers win tonight. No chance of that whatsoever, so stop your whining.

Chargers won the toss. They have the advantage. The Colts' D is definitely tired.

3rd and 11

1st down

The Chargers have the ball at midfield.

The Colts' defense is beaten up. It looks like the Chargers are going to win.

The Colts just can't stop the Chargers. Another great season down the drain. Fire Dungy.

Anonymous said...

Norv just outcoached Dungy again. Whiners please shut the hell up about firing Norv.

Anonymous said...

Nine game winning streak down the drain.

Anonymous said...

Chargers win. Colts out in the first round. Time to fire Dungy.

Anonymous said...

Manning once again has a losing record in the playoffs, and we, the fans, have been deprived of a Manning Bowl in Tampa. Fuck Dungy.

Norv just beat a Super Bowl-winning coach. Norvamania is officially back, regardless of what the whiners say.

I am proud of the way the team played. Norv did a good job of playcalling tonight. The Defense played great all night but one play. We survive to play again next week. Norv still sucks though. He did not turn this team around the players did.

norvsucksdirtybutt said...

Scifers had a great game too. Without his effort we would not have won the game.

norvsucksdirtybutt said...

Hey annonymous.....go post on a colts website or start your own firedungy.net. Stop whinning on our site. And yes norv still sucks

Anonymous said...

Nope, Norv doesn't suck. He's won three playoff games in two seasons. Marty won zero in five seasons. Norv won't be fired. On the other hand, this is the third time in four years that the Colts have lost in the playoffs to a clearly inferior team. It's time for Dungy to go. If Norv sucks as much as you guys say, then Dungy is downright awful.

I do whatever I want, norvsucks.

Whoever created this site is a complete tard. You're probably the type of person who gives up when you lose a few. You're probably the only person who voted over 1000 times on your own poll!! The players turned this around, not the coach? Give me a break. It's a complete team effort, including the coach and the staff. Get a life!

Anonymous said...

The other anonymous guy is right. Norv calls the f'ing plays. Norv will be back next year, and he's done a good job. They won. Period.

Dave said...

ok so when they are 8-8 the coach plays a part in that too right? enough said. Where have you been the last year and a half? The site gets up to a thousand hits a day. I guess some people agree with me. And yes the play calling was good today. But that doesnt eradicate the fact that Norv was 8-8 this year. You are the tard if 8-8 with this team is good enough for you. You saw how well they played today. The fact that they dont play that well all season says alot about the coach.

Anonymous said...

Actually it is okay that they finished 8-8, since they made the playoffs. They should be 9-7 anyway because Hochuli stole a game from them. Norv has done well when it really counts. If the Chargers pull an upset next week, no one will even give a shit what their regular season record was.

It doesn't matter how many hits this site gets. The Chargers' ownership doesn't make their decisions based on that. Let's not forget that Merriman was out all season.
