High Stakes Week!

Since I love handicapping games and I don't have a Chargers game to Handicap I will take a swing at the biggest game in town this week. The U.S. Presidential election.

I don't think Obama can hold North Carolina for some obvious reasons involving the movie Deliverance and too many of McCain's age group in Florida who might think like my grandmother and won't be voting for anyone without an 'anglo' name. But other than that this will fall with the polls as of today. McCain cant win PA and Ohio and thus wont win the Presidency.

If I am incorrect it will only be because of a huge showing of first time voters in favor of Obama since they are not usually polled in these things.

No Surprise

I dont think it is a suprise to anyone that Ted got fired. With Rivera in the wings it was just a matter of time. I like Ted but he wasnt cutting the mustard. Or blitzing enough.

This is going to have a huge impact on the Chargers play on the defensive side of the ball. At least for one game.

Defense? We dont need no stinking DEFENSE!

No Defense at all. HOW many delay of games? Penalties galore? I Dont care who you are or what you do EVERYONE agrees these are Coaching issues. Horrible clock management. Enough is enough. Im too mad to even write this blog. 3-5? Your kidding me.

English Women!

I know your all waiting to hear my prediction for the game since I have been dead on and should quit my career as a homeless man and become a sports betting handicapper. Even though the offers from all the casinos has been nice I will have to continue to collect money at a freeway near you and bath in the bay.

That brings me to British peoples teeth. What is up with them?

That's enough about that fascinating subject. On to the game!!!!

England. Time change. Un-motivated team. Plays below its ability. Poor game scheming and poor execution 3/4 of the time. What does this spell? Victory for the CHARGERS!

The Saints have Reggie Bush out and Deuce McAllister and some other Saints got busted for doping. This wont be good for morale and if the Chargers can't get up for a Game spotlighted in Europe in front of all of those 'dentally challanged' women then what can they get excited for?

Chargers will win this game 27-21. Bet on it.

UPDATE: Ok so I was wrong. Last time I give Norv the benefit of the doubt. Two more losses and kiss the playoffs goodbye.

Who ate the Chargers?

What team was that on the field against the Bills? Was that the Chargers we know and love or was it their evil zombie doppelganger that seems be showing up more and more each week? Some weeks the Zombies play for the first half then the real team shows up for the 2nd half. However, it seems like the Zombies have become the first string lately.

One of the biggest criticism from former players that played under Norv was that he couldn't motivate and wasn't head coach material. It sure looks like Norv must have taken a bite out of the Chargers 'Turnering" them into Zombies. What else could explain the most talented team in the NFL having a record like this? What is AJ's excuse now? Slow start? You judge season by quarters right AJ? Well these first two SUCKED!

Only way to kill a zombie is to cut of its head or burn it. Lets remove this Head sooner rather than later so that next year the Zombies don't turn into Raiders.

This trip is no Vacation

Sir. The moose at the door should have told you the park's closed.

This long trip will not have the Chargers or the fans 'whistling dixie out their asses". Teams such as Buffalo coming off a bye are tough to beat and the Bills have looked really good this year. Send in a long ass trip to merry ol London and not coming home between days spells trouble. However, the silver lining of this is that the team will be bunking in Hotels for two weeks straight and might gain that team spirit and cohesivness they seem to lack this year.

We know Norv aint gonna give them motivation but maybe they will bond because of the arrangements and circumstances.

I dont have a good feeling about this one. The line is just about even in Vegas... I hate to say it but...... 21-20 Bills win.

OK. I think we all now the season pretty much hangs in the balance and the odds are stacked against the Chargers. Almost an entire month of very far away games and we have the play the Pats this Sunday night. Even without Brady they have looked strong as a Cassel. hahaha ahah har har.

Anyway, I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Chargers come out of Sunday night with an ass whooping on the Patriots. Sure the Chargers will be extremely outcoached just like the other games we have played so far. BUT this Sunday the Chargers will not be OUT-HUSTLED. No Sir.

Chargers are favored by 6 points in the spread for a reason and I am going with the Bolts. 35-17 BlowOUT of the Cheatriots.

Sproles and Tucker will get the majority of the runs and Naanee (his family must like vowels) and Floyd have career days. Mark my words!

Flipper v. Flounder

At first I thought it was just a slow start. Maybe the injuries or lack of pre-season play made for a slow start to the season. A few loses and poor showings in ALL games this year so far and the difference between being 0-5 is really just 2 really good quarters. I think it is fair to say the Chargers are un-motivated or being out coached. Both of these problems are coaching problems. Thus Norv problems.

I know AJ..... you look at the season in quarters. Well... this first one stunk.

If the Dolphins are 'flipper' then the Chargers look more like a "Flounder" so far this season.
