I guess if i was his age and had guns like him id wear a shirt 2 sizes too small too. I met Ed in New Orleans during the superbowl after 9-11 after a night out (well at least I was out) and he seemed nice enough. But now Ed, the romance is over.

It is now my belief from call after call against the Chargers in the game against Denver that you are a programed robot OR have been brainwashed to screw the Chargers over in games when someone shouts the word "pumpernickle!" to you on the field. This makes you blow your whistle to call obvious fumbles that go backwards dead as an incomplete pass somehow.

Perhaps you and Mike Shanahan served together in some Delta force unit that invaded Panama or Nicaragua or something and that is when they planted the device in your brain. But you can no longer be trusted.

I would like to officially request referee Mike Carey for the rest of the San Diego games and you my old friend. I will forever yell at the field telling you to go buy a shirt that isnt 2 sizes too small but due to the size of those guns I will do this randomly from the stands well out of range of any lasers your eyes might shoot out.

As you can see by the photo of Mike Carey he is capable of defeating the Hochuli. Its like Ultra-Man Vs. Godzilla. Whatever you do Charger fans. DO NOT yell PUMPERNICKLE at the games.

0-2 and quite frankly......

Im not saying that the Chargers lost because:

1. the broncos home video replay was somehow 'inoperable' on a call that would obviously be overturned in favor of the chargers for a crucial turnover. or
2. Ed 'check out my guns' Hochuli blows what was obviously a fumble recovered by the Chargers as dead. or
3. the broncos were obviously coached to 'chop block' as seen by the double team chop block earlier in the game. (those dont just happen). or
   
4. every possible penalty that could be called against Cromartie was called

but it really comes down to the other 24 + points the broncos scored at will against a more than mediocre Charger defense this year. The team came out flat again and lost again. The penalties stacked up. Those are coaching issues. Calling 2 time outs early in the 2nd half. Coaching issues. (with two time outs at the end of the game a field goal would have been much more likely possible).

Darren Sproles was fantastic and LT was hurt again. Everyone thought he could be more durable than the 8 year curse for RB's but it doesn't look like it. Enjoy LT this year because if this keeps up he will be retiring after this year.

The game was stolen from the Chargers. There has to be an investigation into the game clock errors and the video replay but it was only open to be stolen because, quite frankly, if you cant stop a 2 point conversion in the NFL you probably shouldnt be winning close games.

But then again, the Chargers did win that game if it wasnt for that call, which isnt in dispute, Hochuli admitted the mistake during the game.

Yoko ROMO, The jinx

Well, the very injured Charger team has one thing going for them. Jessica Simpson isn't dating Phillip Rivers.

Today on Good Morning America the lovely and not so talented Simpson said "Go Cowboys!" and "We're gonna kick your butts, too!" about the MNF matchup this week between the Eagles and Cowboys.

Its bad enough when a player trash talks but the players Girlfriend? That's just lame. Especially, since the former Christian circuit singer, who's father is a pastor, couldn't STAND football during her FIRST marriage. (which was reportedly broken up when she got caught having sex with Bam Margera. I kid you not). Poor Nich Lachey. And dont ask how I know this stuff. Sometimes i just happen to 'surf by' TMZ and might just 'pick up' an US magazine once in a while. Nothing wrong with that,RIGHT?! Um. yea.

Anyway, Since I am the handicapping guru. I am going to have to say Eagles by 10 just because of this Simpson spoutage.

This picture of Tom Brady out for the season says it all. While i don't want anyone to get hurt. This injury couldn't have happened to a better set of fans.

What the Hell?

Who saw that coming? I didnt. Maybe the Carolina Cougars (eRRRR) Panther fan who reported a guy behind us for 'cursing' 3 minutes into the game in front of me did. I understand if you have kids and someone is dropping F-bombs but this guy reported the guy simply because he was rousting the Panthers. It was him and his 46 year old wife. Well, Couger (errrrr Panther) fan got the last laugh.

Whats up? Slow start? I dont know. BUT they did look like shit. (OPPS! now the Panther fan infront of me will report me!) DOODY! FARTSSS! SHUCKS! Is that better Carolin fan?
