At first I thought it was just a slow start. Maybe the injuries or lack of pre-season play made for a slow start to the season. A few loses and poor showings in ALL games this year so far and the difference between being 0-5 is really just 2 really good quarters. I think it is fair to say the Chargers are un-motivated or being out coached. Both of these problems are coaching problems. Thus Norv problems.
I know AJ..... you look at the season in quarters. Well... this first one stunk.
If the Dolphins are 'flipper' then the Chargers look more like a "Flounder" so far this season.

I think we have seen that by now.
Even the Charger players are confused as to why they lost - again.
How about complete lack of preparation and Defense can't hold on the one yard line for a T.D.
Norv is being out coached and the Chargers are being outplayed - we were hoping that this nightmare was ending this week, but in fact, it got worse.
As hard as it was last week to watch all of that game, this time, I had to stop watching today's game. Then, when feeling brave enough to check back in with the game, the Chargers blow it on the 1 yard line. Not to mention in only one game all season have they been losing at the half - now they totally blow it and look like the Aztecs instead of a NFL team.

Every week this season we are not prepared to play. We get kicked around like no other in the first half and scramble to make a game of it or win in the second. You would think that after the Oakland scare we would be ready for the possibly of an upset. But not with Norv! He looked like we had already lost before we even flipped the coin. The sidline demeanor is unacceptable and people need to be held accountable. The Dolphins are not a good football team. If you go position by position there are maybe 2 players that you would change for a better Charger team. We simply got way out coached and outplayed.
Norv Turner sucks ass....AGAIN. I can't stand this guy. This team is NEVER prepared. NFL analysts insist they have one of the most talented rosters in football and they just lost to a team led by Chad Pennington, might as well have been Ty Pennington. NORV SUCKS. I am going to become a Lion fan so then I can just expect them to lose every week with no talent.
Norv again reasurring us that our expectations are "not too high".
Maybe now that most Charger fans have lowered their expections to almost nothing, then good ol' Norv might just be right, cuz right now, he just SUCKS ASS.
I like the comment above about switching to a Detroit fan, so if the Lions ever win, you can be delighted!
Since we long suffering Charger's fans never know what to expect - might as well just expect any win to be gravy. God forbid that they ever put a game away and people can leave the parking lot early or not watch till the VERY end.
Next - New England - not a good time to be a Charger fan. Looks like October really is a scary month - not just the 31st.

Every day, we hear about the failed economy, the nightmare on Wall Street, the pit-bull hockey mom, and all the other negative garbage flowing day in and day out.
We get excited to see the Chargers play and lo and behold - more failure, more bad news. How is it that a Head Coach in the NFL has NO idea how long a football game is? Or how to prepare?

Sunday night there will be a collective sigh of relief that we have a shot or the very real fact that the team that was supposed to have the most talent in the league will not even make the playoffs. I'm hoping to let out a big sigh.
