I agree! I can't place my finger on the exact reason I hate people from Boston. I could care less about baseball, and I hate the Sawx anyway, I find myself pulling for the Yankees just because I can't stand people from Boston.
Maybe it's because I've worked for 2 large corporations with headquaters on the MASS Pike and I've never been invited to "The Vin-yehd" and everyone I've ever met from Boston is a total d-bag.
