As the old and wise Koan goes "If a tree falls in the woods and no one is there is see it does it happen?" I think the same riddle exists today for the NFL Pre-season. Some games (most) really suck. Yes, it can be fun to watch to see what undrafted free agent will make that awesome catch and maybe latch on to a team or the guy who gets his only two passes that will ever be thrown to him in the NFL and drops one and fumbles the other. SEE YA!
It can be riveting and sad. Mostly Sad. Id rather be watching bad football in the pre-season than no football or (gasp) baseball but maybe they should only charge $30 a game to go see them. Its like going on a date with a hot girl but your forced to hang out with her really lame friend on every date.

For all the time and interest I put into the Chargers it is amazing how much disinterest I have in preseason ball. It seems that the only exciting thing about it is to pray that no starters get hurt. Amazingly drinking during the game doesn't help me get fired up like regular season games, go figure.
