Breaking News: Chargers sign LaDainian Tomlinson

Dateline: Denver

It appears the San Diego Chargers have a pro-bowl running back named LaDainian Tomlinson. In the 5th game of the 2007 season the coaching staff decided to use this back apparantly known as LT to great effect in a 41-3 lopsided victory.

When asked about the move Head Coach Norv Turner stated "well, we have always thrown on all 4 downs no matter what. Especially in the 2nd half of games. We thought we would put in a trick play and run this fella a few times to see what might happen. We sure are glad we did." "You know.." He continued to say "the last coach here , Marty S. left me some notes and told me not to run the ball with him much. Especially, in the 2nd half if we are ahead or the running game is otherwise working. Now I get the feeling that advice might not be that good." Norv then questioned whether or not Shotty might not have had his best interest in mind.

Next week: Def. Coordinator Ted Cottrell examines new play called a "blitz" and "pressuring the QB" with another Pro-Bowler named Merriman. Rumor ALSO has it that the new coaching staff MIGHT look at tape of the team from the last 3 years.


ON a more serious note....
Even a Charger win couldnt stop my dogs from having their nuts chopped off but it is a step in the right direction. (No I dont kick them when we lose). The team handed the Denver Donkeys thier worst home lose since 1966. This is the team we expected. Was it Norv? Did the OL coach call the plays for this game as stated by Ditka? We still dont know... but whatever they did it worked. Did Norv's haircut have something to do with it?

For those of you saying that a 2-3 start is good enough and that the petition is stupid (THIS MEANS you Jim Laslavic Thanks for the shout out on the news tonight!) Let's take it a day at a time. But for now I am happy for the week. My dogs wont be afraid of me and I probably wont get half the hate mail I was from the Raiders fans.

Ive burned all of my jerseys that they lost in when I wore them. My dogs dont want to have to wear those dog jerseys but that is the next step.......... You have been warned! Do you really want it to come to that? I didnt think so.....

Norv Ruined Everything: FUnny story from AOL

Here is a funny story from the sports sections of AOL.
It talks about how the 49'ers offense has now regressed since Norv left. The Chargers have regressed and the 49'ers offense he used to coach has regressed. Bad for everyone. :(

Firm Rumor: Already? Pete Carroll to possibly replacing Norv AND AJ

BREAKING NEWS!!!!! Wow, this might happen faster than we thought. Chris Mortenson reports Pete Carroll is ready to head up the Chargers if he can have full control of the coaching AND GM duties.

The Worm has turned, so to speak

Well last week I got a lot of hate mail from people saying I was overreacting. Well, turns out that stats, history and the opinion of every player that has played under him as Head Coach is correct. If it looks like a duck, smells like a duck and passes the ball on 3rd and 2 when the best running back in the NFL was having a good game up until that time it is most certainly a duck! Or perhaps a Turkey in this instance. Or Maybe a Goose since that offenses go through our linebacker and secondary just like S&*T through a goose.

SO now everyone has awaken like the colonial Americans after Thomas Paine's "Common Sense" pamphlet. Fire NORV! Sign the petition.

Riddle me this.......Ron Rivera is our linebacker coach and not the Def Coordinator. Our defense is our largest problem. Now without the Nick the Bears defense sucks now too. This tells me Nick would be a good Def coordinator and Cottrell should be shown the door immediately.

Its obvious to everyone we are being out coached at half-time adjustments this is 75% Coaching......
