I liked Marty and wasn't at all happy about the hiring of Norv.
But firing Norv after 3 games would effectively be surrendering the season. This team made significant strides from the previous week and the players and coaches know it. The Green Bay game was frustrating, but we lost the KC game almost the same way last year, and that was with Marty.
They just need to get a taste of success again. The frustration should light a fire under the players that Norv isn't able to spark.
Now stop this negativity.
I agree with you and I hope that they get better and better each game. but will that be enough? I dont know..... Almost every player that has played for him has serious doubts about his ability as head coach.... That included Jerry Rice..
Whatever happens with NORV and staff my greatest fear is that the damage is already done to LT and other players. He's gonna demand a trade after this season.
20+ years of bad hiring that trickles down to the players, Gilbride,Riley, Beathard, Norv. Chargers will never win the big one with Spanos in charge.
i can't even stand his face, i wouldn't let norv anywhere near my own team...and we stink.
